Yoga is so much more than a type of exercise. It’s a practice that aligns our energy with our actions. It’s a form of mind-body-spirit connection. And if you haven’t tried it, you don’t know what you’re missing. I mean that literally!
The truth is that yoga is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, go inward, and start paying attention to the signs and signals our bodies and minds are trying to share with us. It pulls back the veil to allow light in… and let our inner light out. Look closer.
Once we quiet our thoughts and focus on our physical form, we are able to hear the whispers of our own body language. In the silent spaces between breaths, there are strengths and weaknesses… insights and inspiration… wisdom and warnings. Listen closer.
Embrace the connection between mind, body, and spirit. We have so much knowledge available to us that we aren’t aware we already know. Whether we recognize it as instinct or intuition or our inner voice, the important thing is that we get the message.
