While this may seem like a random list of positive practices, they are actually a collection of ideas for incorporating wellness rituals into our daily lives.
More than simply good habits, restorative rituals are a sacred form of self-love and self-care. For me, it’s about carving out time and creating space to check in with myself and do a quick personal inquiry. How am I doing today? What’s happening in my body? Where am I feeling my strengths and weaknesses?
When I hit “pause,” whether it’s through meditation, yoga, or simply practicing stillness, I am able to slow down and tune in. I can recognize tension in my body that requires attention.
Daily meditation helps me create clarity. Yoga is a necessity that deepens my relationship with my own body. Time spent connecting with Mother Nature reduces my stress levels. A healing soundbath raises my vibrations. Laughter rejuvenates my spirit.
It is a fundamental fact that the more we do, the better we feel, and the better we feel, the more we want to do. Set your intention and act on it. Picture a wellness ritual that would bring you joy and peace, and then incorporate it into your daily practice.
Make self-care your rite!
xoxo,
Brooke
