Fitness expert Brooke Burke looked to be in the best shape of her life on Wednesday as she was seen on a beach in Malibu with friends.
The TV host – who turned 51‑years-old last month – was seen in a teeny orange string bikini that had a triangle top and small low-on-the-hips briefs with straps on the side as she walked in the sand.
The brunette bombshell, who is a mother of four children, was shooting a video for her Brooke Burke Body App with her best friend Elizabeth Miller and future step‑daughter, Lila Rigsby.
The former Dancing With The Stars co-host had a very toned tummy with abs showing. At one point the former model carried a woven purse in her hand. This comes after she told DailyMail.com that one of the ways she stays so thin is with mini workouts.
She has insisted working out for just five minutes a day can improve your frame. ‘I designed an app which speaks to that. It has been very popular. If you focus just five minutes on one area it does indeed make a difference. Five minutes of lunges a day do pay off.
‘And another thing that’s great is you can do it several times a day and those five minutes suddenly turn into 30 minutes if you want.’
The Skechers spokesperson shared that even walking 20 minutes a day can help not just with keeping the weight off, but also with mental health.
‘Don’t get in a rut,’ the cover girl shared. ‘The more you move, the more you want to move. It’s all about the action, the movement. Even 20 minutes a day helps out.’
Brooke said she does a lot of different things during her workout routine, and a 45 minute walk is included.
‘It is my escapism,” the fitness expert said. ‘I love to get out and walk and am really blessed with good weather in Southern California. I love to walk in my neighborhood, I get to say hello to my neighbors, it’s a good social plus.
With her bestie: Here she is seen with her best friend Elizabeth Miller who wore a floral print mini dress.
‘I walk with my children and my boyfriend and we love the fresh air, the Vitamin D we get. The movement feels great too.’
And she loves both walking on the beach and in the mountains. ‘Both are just as beautiful. I like to take my dogs to the mountains and they get to run around,’ she added.
She also urged people to get in the mood: ‘Just get up, put your shoes on and get out there. Once you have your shoes on you tend to get in the mindset for a walk.’
There is also a lot one can do when on a walk. Brooke tells DailyMail.com she likes to listen to audio books and music, and she even takes conference calls but ‘sometimes silence is the best to reset.’
A walk to remember: Brooke looked over at her pal, whom she features often on her Instagram page, and smiled. The ladies have been close friends for many years and regularly work out together.
And when she is walking with her kids, they have a catch up: ‘It’s nice to talk and walk with my kids with no devices.’
Brooke is engaged to real estate investor Scott Rigsby: She has four children: Neriah, 22, Sierra, 20, Heaven, 15, and Shaya, 14.
And she said she likes intermittent fasting: ‘It is one of the easiest ways to lose weight.’
Brooke says she has been doing intermittent fasting for many years and it works well for her.
‘It is one of the easiest ways to lose weight,’ she said. ‘If you can stay in that time frame you have a big advantage.’

Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It doesn’t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them, according to Healthline.
There is the 16/8 method where one does not eat for 16 hours but then eats within the remaining eight hours.
The red carpet favorite recommends eating plenty of foods rich in good fats such as avocados and macadamia nuts.
‘That is brain food that gives you power and energy,’ she said. ‘I also use a lot of olive oil and coconut oil in my cooking.’

As far as exercise goes, it is a part of her life. ‘I work out five times a week and those other two days I relax,’ said the Melissa & Joey actress.
‘It’s important to have down time to collect yourself and give yourself a break. On your days off, just take a stroll in your neighborhood, enjoy it,’ added the 5ft7in looker who is reportedly around 112lbs with a 23in waist.
The star shared other secrets for staying young looking.
One step was the bicycle move, which women have been doing for decades and Jane Fonda pushed in the 1980s.
Another was the Single Leg Bridge that seemed to have a bit of a yoga influence.
Then there was the Kickbacks which go back to the 1970s when home workouts became a trend.
‘People have been in a funk because of the lockdown due to COVID‑19 but working out can be an answer because it makes your adrenaline flow and it improves your mood,’ said the social media staple who was her high school’s homecoming queen.
Exercise promotes chemicals in the brain that improve your mood and make you more relaxed.
Specifically, the brain releases feel‑good chemicals called endorphins throughout the body. Physical activity reduces anxiety and depressed mood, and enhances self-esteem, according to ULife.
Brooke also shared that it is important to target certain areas like tummy, legs or backside. ‘If you want a flatter stomach to focus on strengthening your core, don’t just do cardio. If you want a better booty, do the right moves. You can target your problem areas.
