By Popular Request: Superfood Secrets Revealed

Since I released my new upgraded Superfood Daily Blend, everyone has been asking me what makes it so special. So I thought I’d share the ingredients, benefits, and knowledge I gained while powering-up my formula!

Matcha

About 900 years ago, Zen Buddhist monks discovered a special tea which sharpened the mind without overstimulating it.1,2

Unknown
Matcha is the whole tea leaf in powdered form, grown in the shade so it builds more of its brain-boosting nutrients.

Called matcha, this powdered green tea is enjoyed everyday in Japan. And get this… both Japanese men and women have the longest life expectancy in the world – years beyond the global average!3 Not only that, people in Japan are also able to stay sharp and active well into their Golden Years.

A high-quality matcha can help you keep your mind sharp and nimble, too.

We’re seeing more matcha drinks pop up here in the U.S., but it’s still nowhere near as common as it is in Japan. And, honestly, the quality doesn’t even come close.

Yerba Mate

An indigenous tribe of South American people, the Guaraní, use the leaves of yerba mate as a ritual drink.4

Unknown 1
Scientific studies show yerba mate is rich in antioxidants which are great for your metabolism and energy.

It’s another special “longevity tea” you can’t always find in the U.S., but it’s so powerful, I knew I wanted to get this into my daily diet. The Guaraní relied on yerba mate for stamina and focus necessary during long hunts to ensure peak physical performance even after days with little food.

Likewise, yerba mate can help you sustain your energy, stay focused, and feel vital.

So I combined yerba mate with matcha for an energy boost which worked for both mind and body. And I was super impressed.

Together, these 2 ingredients became the foundation for the “steady spark” I wanted every morning.

Maca Root

In South America, maca root has been used medicinally for thousands of years.

Unknown 2
Ancient cultures in the Andes have relied on maca for over 2,000 years to help with endurance, fertility, and strength at high altitudes — long before anyone called it an “adaptogen.”

It turns out that it comes from a fascinating group of plants called adaptogens – which are herbs and roots that help our bodies adapt to stress.

Instead of forcing a burst of energy, maca root helps our bodies create their own steady energy — supporting stamina, focus, and emotional balance.5

But when I combined the maca root with matcha and yerba mate, the result was steady energy, clear thinking, and natural calm.

Probiotics

Modern science understands that probiotics are the “good bacteria” which help with digestion, nutrient absorption, and gut health.

However, not all probiotics that are sold in grocery stores actually survive until they reach the gut. That’s why I chose Bacillus coagulans and Lactobacillus acidophilus. The rare strains are proven to survive and actually transform digestion.6

Researchers at Louisiana State University observed that resilient strains like these can help rebalance the microbiome – which is directly tied to smoother digestion, brighter skin, boosted energy levels and better performance during workouts.

They aren’t just “good bacteria.” They’re youth-supporting, vitality-boosting microbes your whole body can feel.

Flaxseed & Chia

Two other tiny powerhouses are flaxseed and chia.

They also happen to be two of the most impressive age-supporting foods ever studied.

They’re rich in soluble fiber and plant-based omega-3s, and research from the National Institutes of Health suggests diets high in these nutrients can help you digest easier and look younger.7 And those omega-3s also help support joint health to help us stay mobile and active.

In other words, they help keep you feeling light, energized, and youthful from morning to night.

Goji Berries

Goji berries have been treasured for centuries as a beauty-and-vitality staple.

And they aren’t just an amazing superfruit, they’re also one of the most studied “longevity berries” on earth.

Packed with vitamins A & C and potent carotenoids, they’ve been highlighted in research from the Institute of Chinese Medicine for their ability to support healthy skin cells and collagen — two essential keys to a smoother, more youthful appearance.8

But their benefits go further than skin deep to support our bodies at the cellular level from stressors like sun, pollutants, and toxins. I think of them as “age-rewind” candy – straight from nature.

Raw Cacao

Raw cacao is one of the most potent antioxidant sources ever measured, and its benefits go far beyond taste.

In fact, a study from the European Journal of Nutrition found that cacao flavanols help support healthy circulation, including to the brain and skin.9

Better circulation gives us a clearer mind, brighter complexion, and noticeable energy. And because increased blood flow supports athletic performance, raw cacao can also help us feel more powerful and focused during our workouts.

So I asked a nutritional health scientist I trust to whip up a test blend for me — a mix of my must-have daily supplements PLUS my new “energy upgrade” mix.

The Perfect Combination
Once I had my core components, I began working with a nutritional health scientist to perfect my formula. After going through a few different formulations, I finally found the perfect balance.

I began to notice improvements in:

  • Energy Level
  • Motivation & Focus
  • Productivity
  • Digestion
  • Joints & Muscles

Ultimately, when we give our body the nutrients it needs to thrive, we feel stronger, healthier, and more alive. It’s just biology!

So, if you’re ready to supercharge your energy, your strength, and most importantly your health… get ready to discover a truly cutting-edge anti-aging complex backed by both modern science and ancient traditions.
